Advanced Texas Hold
It was announced yesterday that the World Series of Poker Academy will now have a new class available for poker players to step up their game. The Academy has added an advanced No-Limit Texas Hold'em theory and strategy poker camp to their lineup. The class will take place on April 18th and 19th in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace.
The poker camp will help move players to the next level. Attendees will learn heads-up strategy, advanced tournament stage strategy, advanced mathematics of poker and winning cash game strategies. Jeff Goldenberg, the producer of the WSOP Academy stated that the new camp is for players who have attended a camp before or someone who is a serious student of the game. With this new camp they will graduate to the next level.
The two-day poker camp will have long list of professionals who will be presenting seminars and lectures. Annie Duke, Phil Gordon, Howard Lederer, Paul Wasicka, Alex Outhred and Andy Bloch are a few who are scheduled to be instructors. Joe Navarro will also be on hand to talk about decoding poker tells. Navarro is a poker tells expert and retired FBI agent. "With our team of world-class instructors, our No-Limit Hold'em Advanced Academy is the sure-fire way to elevate your game to new heights." said Jeff Goldenberg
During the camp there will also be poker games available for attendees to participate in with the chance to win one of two seats to the 2008 WSOP Main Event. The buy-in seats are worth $10,000 a piece. "We're thrilled to be giving away two seats to the 2008 WSOP Main Event," Goldenberg said. "Last summer we had one of our participants, Sally Ann Boyer, go from Academy grad one day to world champion the next. That's the kind of confidence and skills students take away from our Academy, and we expect our seat winners to compete at the absolute highest levels at this year's WSOP."
