At age 21 and three weeks Norwegian Dag Martin Mikkelsen is fighting his way toward the cheap lead in the 2007 World Series of Poker. On his way to 5.7 Million tournament chips, Dag pushed another WSOP hopeful holding suited big slick, diamonds. His opponent, held a wired pair of eights.

The flop brought Mikkelsen a straight flush draw, with a jack and ten of diamonds, with a jack of hearts. The turn brought Mikkelsen his flush, leaving his opponent drawing for either an eight or a jack on the river. The river card, the Queen of Hearts, a royal flush (the best possible hand in the game) for the Norwegian, and a ticket out the door for his opponent.

Later on, Mikkelsen's hole cards, a 10 and a 7 of clubs made a flush on the turn and crushed another WSOP dream, cracking aces.
