Event No. 4 the $5,000 dollar buy in Mixed Texas Hold'em of the World Series of Poker was won by Erick Lindgren who is 31 years old and has been playing poker professionally for almost ten years.  Before starting his professional poker career he was a Blackjack dealer at an Indian casino in Northern California.

But Lindgren started playing poker during his free time and discovered he was quite talented in poker.  He then began his transition from Blackjack dealer to full time poker pro and now plays in major tournaments across the world.  Over his career he has cashed at 16 WSOP events and has won almost   $1.5 million dollars at the WSOP and WSOP circuit events.

During an interview after he won Event No. 3 Lindgren said, "Limit Hold'em tournaments have been very good to me in the past. I wanted to use that as my strength. We had a lot of No-Limit (Hold'em) strength at this final table, but I wanted to use Limit to make my moves. Until the final card turned, I was just panicked and worried that (Bonomo) might come back and I would blow another one. I was just so happy and so lucky that it finished early."

"My strategy when playing heads-up was just to keep my head down, keep betting, and hope (my opponent) folds. Seriously, I decided I would put the pressure on him because that is what he likes to do. I woke up my father at 1:30 am to tell him I had won. He had not been up at 1:30 in the morning in a long time. It was a good call to make. It was really special. I can't wait to send him the bracelet."

This is the second consecutive year that the World Series of Poker has offered a $5,000 dollar buy in "Mixed Hold'em" tournament on the schedule.  Mixed Hold'em is both Limit and No Limit Hold'em, the games alternated as each game is players for 30 minutes per each one hour level.

This was the third event that will be later televised on ESPN, the final table was played out on the ESPN main stage, surrounded by the Milwaukee's Best Light All-In Lounge.

In all 36 players cashed out at the event with first place winner Erick Lindgren taking the first place prize of $374,505 dollars and his first World Series of Poker gold bracelet.  Justin Bonomo finished the event in second place with $230,259 dollars.  Event No. 3 will later be aired on ESPN of August 5th.
