First Poker Player of 2007 WSOP to Win 2 Gold Bracelets!
We finally have our first double bracelet winner for this year's World Series of Poker! Tom Schneider won his first WSOP gold bracelet in the mixed Omaha and Stud Hi-Lo event #5. The buy in for this event was $2,500. When it came down to final table, Schneider was the event's chip leader and took those chips and used them to take everyone else's and take home the first place prize of $214,387!
Today Tom won his second golden WSOP bracelet in event #46 the 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo $1000 buy in event. As in event #5, Schneider came to the final table with the largest chip stack and just kept taking more and more of his opponents chips until he had them all! The first place cash prize was $147,713.
Tom Schneider is also known in the poker world as the 'Donkey Bomber'. Tom is a very busy man outside his professional poker career. Back home in Scottsdale Arizona, Schneider hosts a radio show broadcasted out of Phoenix Arizona called 'Beyond the Table'. Tom is also well known for his poker strategy book 'Oops I Won Too Much Money!'
