Phil Hellmuth Makes Quite an Entrance to WSOP Main Event
Phil Hellmuth has a very impressive record when it comes to poker play especially at the World Series of Poker. However, many people still do not care for Hellmuth as his personality can get in the way. He recently showed his large ego when he arrived at the Main Event dressed like Julius Caesar.
Hellmuth dressed up like Julius Caesar and walked through the Rio with Roman guards by his side. He was also surrounded by muses throwing rose petals who were dressed in only body paint. There were over one hundred people helping Hellmuth make his grand entrance and everyone in the poker industry is talking about it.
Hellmuth commented: “This was my biggest entrance yet and with 11 WSOP bracelets under my belt, I think it’s pretty fitting, to be honest.”
Hellmuth has become known for his grand entrances at the WSOP. Last year he arrived dressed in military garb followed by a troop of female soldiers that were barely dressed. In 2007 he arrived at the casino in an UltimateBet racecar which he wrecked and caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages.
