WSOP Employees No-Limit Hold'em Event
The last event in this year's World Series of Poker was the Casino Employees No-Limit Hold'em tournament. The tournament had a $500 dollar buy in and got underway on Monday, July 14th and continued through to Tuesday with 930 entrants competing for a share of the prize money.
Jonathon Kotula ended up taking home the tournament with the first place prize of $87,929 dollars and he also won the last bracelet that will be handed out until November when the Main Event bracelet will be awarded.
Kevin O'Harra finished the tournament in second place and he received $56,748 dollars. The player in third place was Glenda Harrel who won $34,107 dollars.
Now WSOP fans will have to wait until November for more Main Event action as the World Series of Poker is put on hold for a couple of months.
This is a good and bad thing for those final nine players as the anticipation will now build for months to a breaking point. But at the same time they also have several months to practice and get advice from other players to improve on thier game.
