Here are the final table and results of Event #49, $1,500 buy-in (no rebuys) No Limit Texas Holdem tournament.

When event #49 went to final table this afternoon, the nine players left included; Taylor Douglas having the largest chip stack with 2,618,000 in chips followed by Leandro Pimentel with 1,134,000, Ray Spencer with 1,128,000, Greg 'FBT' Mueller with 1,032,000, Duane Felix with 996,000, John Hunt with 833,000, Cort Kibler-Melby with 694,000, Lewis Titterton with 552,000 and Chandrasekhar Billavara bringing in the shortest stack of only 456,000 in chips.

Lewis Titterton was the first to be eliminated from event #49's final table in 9th place by Leandro Pimentel. Titterton's K-c Q-d off was no match to Pimental's A 10-d when the board came A-c, 10-h, 7-h, 2-d, K-h.

Greg Mueller was eliminated in 8th place when he flopped a set of trips with his 3 4-d when the flop came 6-c, 4-s, 4-h. Unfortunately he was called of course by Taylor Douglas who also flopped trip 4's with his 10 4-c. The turn came a 7-h and the river a 9-d not helping Mueller in the least and the 10 kicker holds.

When Ray Spencer looked down at his cards and saw he held a K-c J-h he pushed his chips all in and got a call from Taylor Douglas who held A-h J-s. The board came A-c, 10-h, 3-s, 10-c, K-c and that was how Ray Spencer was eliminated in 7th place.

John Hunt initiated the first raise from small blind and Cort Kibler-Melby then re-raised all in holding an A-c 7-s. John called his all in and flipped over his wired pair of 9's. The board came 8-d, 4-c, 3-d, 6-c, 10-h. Hunt's pocket nines held up and eliminated Cort Kibler-Melby in 6th place.

Duane Felix pushed his chips all in pre flop when he peeked at his cards and saw his A 2-h. John Hunt called quickly and flipped over his A-s 9-c. The cards came out K-c, 10-d, 9-h, 4-c, J-c eliminating Duane Felix in 5th place.

The entire time at final table thus far, Leandro Pimentel had stayed very active and aggressive. When he looked down and saw his A-h 10-s he decided to continue his aggressive play by pushing all in realizing as soon as Chandra Billavara called and flipped over his A-c Q-s that he was dominated. The table cards were dealt revealing a 8-d, 4-d, 3-s, J-d, A-s giving Billavara the pot with his Q kicker and taking Pimentel out in 4th place.

Call it tilt, or whatever you choose, but after losing nearly 2 million in chips to Taylor Douglas's all in Hunt was crippled. Douglas was dominated pre flop, his Q-s J-d to Hunt's A-s Q-d. But when the board came J-c, 8-h, 3-d, 9-d, 6-d, Hunt was sick to his stomach. The very next hand John moved all in himself with K-c, 4-d and was called by Chandra Billavara who held Q J-c. Today the jacks had something against Hunt when the flop came J-d, 10-s, 9-c, 8-d, 6-s. Hunt being eliminated in 3rd place.

And then there were two...Taylor Douglas had been pushing, trying to build up his stack when Billavara finally called. Douglas held Q-c 9-s and was dominated pre flop by Billavara's A-d 7-s. The flop came out J-h, 6-h, 2-s, helping neither but when the turn came an Ace of hearts and Douglas held no hearts in his hand, he was drawing dead and the first prize cash of $722,914 as well as his own WSOP gold bracelet went to Chandrasekhar Billavara!
