WSOP Event No. 23 Winner Blair Hinkle
Event No. 23 of the World Series of Poker was a $2,000 buyin No Limit Texas Hold'em tournament that saw 1,344 people try to win the prize. The tournament kicked off on June 12th and finished up on June 14th with a winner. In all 99 players got to take home a piece of the $2,466,080 dollar prize pool.
This tournament was the second of three $2,000 buyin No Limit Texas Hold'em tournaments that were planned for the 2008 World Series of Poker schedule. The winner of this event was Blair Hinkle from Kansas City, Missouri and he took home $507,613 dollars for his first place finish.
At the end of this event many gold bracelets have been won by players around the world and so far the count is; eight wins out of Nevada, four from New York, two out of California and two for Canada. There were two out of Missouri and one win out of Germany, Maryland, Michigan, Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
Also there have been many wins by professional poker players and some won by amateurs but who's on top so far? The amateur poker players have the lead so far with four wins and the semi professionals only have two.
