The World Series of Poker main event is one player closer to naming a winner as Lee Watkinson busts out of the tournament, losing with a/7 to Jerry Yang's a/9. Lee Watkinson, who runs a rescue shelter for retiree chimpanzee's that were once used in laboratory studies gave the hand a moments thoughts, before bravely pushing all of his chips to the middle of the table.

Yang paused for nearly four minutes, considering the call, not knowing what Watkinson was holding, a/9 can be dominated by quite a few hands, a bad move here would bring Yang to the short stack, and double the chips held by the Bodog 17/1 player, Watkinson.

Yang called the all in bet, and was surely relieved to find that he had Watkinson dominated. The flop brought no hope to Watkinson, and no further excitement to Yang, all blanks, 2/4/7, though some runner runner opportunities were now available to Watkinson.

The turn card was a king, leaving Watkinson in need of a seven, and only a seven. It didn't come, the river card was a jack, and Lee Watkinson finished the World Series of Poker Main Event in 8th place, for a total cash of $585,699.
